Description
On hiking up to the top of some of the sand dunes in Death Valley, I captured this image aiming into the sun with the top part of my lens to capture a bit of lens flare to show a bit of sand drift in the mild breeze. It is like a lunar landscape at Mesquite Sand Dunes. I hope you can feel the magnitude and he impossibility of crossing a sand dessert given its immense size and heat with no shade or cover.

Love the B&W! Works well in such a desolate region. The geometric lines really help make this a great shot. So very Ansel Adams.

Love the loneliness and the mystic feeling in this wonderful picture... Ana

Thanks Ana. I felt like I was lonely in a very mysterious place when I took this shot. =)
