Description
My sweet monster of a queen cat. She is a very wild female cat that I adopted from the shelter at 4 weeks of age. Hence I am "mom". She is very smart; has a cat vocabulary of 8 distinct sounds that I can identify. Her name is Hoppie because she can hop very high (she must be a Bengali mix but the runt of the litter perhaps--hence the shelter). To me she is my sleeping pill. She comes on my lap and I am out like a clock in 5 minutes. She is very comforting, warm, soft, and lovely--but only to me. She is a definite one-person pet.

lol, I am sure! I think all cats are princesses and they were sent to earth to keep us under control. :)

Wow, when I look at this painting I think that everybody should have a cat! Wonderfully captured feline pose and great colors! V/F

Lovely painting of a lovely subject. I like the unusual pose. f/v

Thanks AnnaJo! It is actually quite a "usual" pose for my princess in the middle of my bed! :)

Angela, I love this cat! They are so funny when they are so open like this! I love the brush strokes you did on his tummy region! FV

Angela, your paintings are a wonderful display of talent! This one makes me smile, not only because I love cats, but I had a cat aptly named 'Princess' ( photo on my site). Another cat, 'Missy', loves to lie on her (own) back! vf
